Post Care Instructions SALINE REMOVAL

The healing process may vary per individual as well as the results. It’s important to follow these instructions to achieve the best results; however they cannot guarantee results as every persons skin can take and hold pigment differently.

KEEP THE TREATED AREA CLEAN AND DRY. Any moisture to the treated area may result in an infection, scarring or an undesirable result.

  • NOTHING ALLOWED ON THE TREATED AREA.

No lotions, ointments, makeup, etc. until completely healed and the scab has fallen off on its own. This may take 2 weeks or longer for this to occur.

  • DO NOT PICK AT THE SCAB, you will prevent the saline solution from removing as much pigment/ink as possible...and may also result of scarring.

After the scab has fallen off, the skin beneath can appear pink for up
to one year or longer. This varies according to each individual's lymphatic system. You will notice continued lightening for several months following the removal.

SIGNS & SYMPTOMS OF INFECTION | Include redness, swelling and tenderness above and beyond what is normal. Signs and symptoms that indicate the need to seek immediate medical care include: red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, elevated body temperature and purulent drainage.
