Microneedling, often referred to CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment that stimulates the growth of collagen and elastin, delivering firmer, smoother and brighter skin. Microneedling works using a pen with a cartridge of small needles that places micro-tears in the skin. In return this causes the skin to use its natural ability to self repair while stimulating the production collagen and elastin.

WHAT IS THE DOWN TIME?
Hardly any! The day of your treatment you will leave red and feeling a bit warm and sunburned. The redness subsides within 48 hours and a few days following your skin may be a bit dry and minimal flaking may occur. Your skin will begin to GLOW the week after!

HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED FOR VISIBLE RESULTS?

You will have amazing results with one session, often clients will do a session of 3 6 weeks apart for the best results.

HOW DO I ENSURE THE BEST RESULTS?

Like all advanced skin treatments, one of the most important steps to ensure the best results is to follow your after care instructions given to you by your technician.

Avoid sun exposure through the first week of healing as you will be more susceptible to burning and hyperpigmentation.

Do not wear mak up for the first 72 hours as you will be prone to infection due to the micro-tears.

Wear SPF daily!
