Post Care Instructions for BROWS - MICROBLADING
The healing process may vary per individual as well as the results. It’s important to follow these instructions to achieve the best results; however they cannot guarantee results as every persons skin can take and hold pigment differently.
Residual pigment and blood can arise from the open skin during the first 24 hours. Avoid washing the skin, but gently DAB the area with a DAMP (NOT WET) cotton pad. You may do this a couple times a day.
With a Q-Tip, apply a small amount of post-treatment ointment/Aquaphor 2-3 times a day for 7-10 days. Do not let the treated area get overly crusty or dry. Some swelling, redness and itching is normal and to be expected.
DO NOT get the treated area wet or sweat for 10 days
DO NOT scratch or pick the dry skin. Let the skin fall off naturally. Picking can cause premature loss of pigment.
(Once the treated area has fully peeled, a shiny layer of new skin will appear covering the hair strokes. This may seem as though your tattoo has disappeared. As the skin regenerates within 1-2 weeks the hair strokes will slowly regain color.)
DO NOT apply make up to the treated area for at least 3 weeks.
DO NOT receive eyebrow tinting, waxing, electrolysis or laser hair removal.
AVOID for 2 WEEKS - direct sun, tanning beds, saunas, jacuzzis, salt water, pools, and direct shower spray.
It’s important to remember that your eyebrows will oxidize. They will get much darker before they soften in healing. This is normal, and final results in color will appear within 3-6 weeks of healing. Please also remember as they heal they will look patchy and color will appear un- even. Your 4/6 touch up appointment is your perfecting appointment.
