MICROBLADING | SHADING | FAQ

Microblading continues to grow in popularity due to the realistic results that it can offer! Whether you have no hair little hair, a lot of hair or patchy hair, microblading can help you achieve the most beautiful brow to frame your face. Microblading is a technique that uses a hand held tool with a row of tiny needles that implant semi-permanent pigment into the skin mimicking the natural hair growth of your brows.  Microblading differs from the old school method of eyebrow tattooing in that each hairstroke creates a fine line giving the illusion or real hair vs a tattoo which is typically solid and heavy in color.

HOW LONG WILL MICROBLADING LAST AND WHO ARE THE RIGHT CANDIDATES?

This will all depend on your skin type. Microblading can realistically last 1 - 1.5 years on someone with  a normal skin type. Someone with oily skin can expect results to be on the lower scale, or may find that they do not hold pigment well at all and they fade quickly. Older, skin often has a difficult time with pigment retention as well. In both cases, oily or older thicker skin, shading is highly recommended as this method uses a PMU machine that delivers pigment into the skin differently and will give longer lasting results.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT THE DAY OF MY TREATMENT?

During your treatment your bows will be drawn on and shaped to your approval. Your new brows will be fully customized to enhance your features according to your facial proportions and the overall shape of your face. From this point your brows will be numbed and color matching and preparation will begin. Once your brows are numb we begin with the first pass of hairstrokes, followed by the 2nd and final pass. Your appointment will take approximately 2 hours from start to finish and your follow up appointment should be scheduled 4 - 6 weeks later.
